A short push from the main entrance Joe Cornish, Luke Treadaway and John Boyega chatted on the sofas of a little raised IGN deck. They were scheduled to do this at 4:30 but since the main panel was due to start at 5pm in the Bikram Yoga Room*, they appeared about an hour early, causing some people to be late for the start. They obliged with signings, photos and for the lucky (pushier) few, cosy, sofa chitty chat before bouncing up the wangy stairways to the arena for a 'Platform' discussion which consisted of showing a) the prevailing trailer of the moment b) the 'First Kill' clip as seen on Film 2011 c) a much longer clip.
These were discussed with a well-balanced mixture of levity and passion followed by a handful of diverse questions from a salivating audience.

Cornish says that all the best sci-fi is actually about someone other than what you think it's about. He wants this to have a clear element of social commentary too - he says like Precinct 13, in which things are said without being said explicitly....from Adrian Hieatt at Ain't It Cool News
Regarding the idea for Attack the Block 2, Cornish told the amassed fans at his afternoon panel that the idea was Edgar Wright’s, and that it’s “brilliant”. Cornish said that he doesn’t think it “should be” his next film....from Brendon Connelly at Bleeding Cool.
